Boondocking. Backcountry. Waste Water Matters.
Tonights moon. So I should mention we are totally off the grid. We slapped some solar panels on the roof, doubled the battery bank, filled up the 100 gallon fresh water tank and hit the dirt back roads of America. We are currently camping in the prescott national forest, outside sedona, az. Living with an extremely limited amount of available fresh water makes you super aware of how much water we actually use. Our water on this planet isn't really in danger, it can't escape the atmosphere. OK. If you are going to make the argument for major H2O sequestration thats another post, so hold your fire. But our global water can move around creating drier spots in some areas that shouldn't be there or something like that if my Bio degree got properly dusted off I would know...Sedona is one of a handful of registered dark skies, but tonights full moon got us going. So, not super dark right now, at least not in the skies. Just scheduled a vacation with my sister and her kids so I can reinforce my fun uncle status. gotta fire up the electric shock response time game and get a buncha ghost stories dialed in, I'm thinking some pyrotechnics might add a little flair.
Our schedule-ish: May and June southern utah. July is MT and WY. August is Northern Cali and September is the PNW. Come find us if you dare...
